How is everyone's Winterfest going? :)

Winterfest 2011 is in 3 days. It's an online convention, it's a website, it's an activity that Beauty and the Beast fans put together each year. They welcome and encourage lurkers, as well as those who wish to say hello to others. There will be games, "caption this" screen captures, videos, music, a talent show, a celebrity chat, and all new content unveiled every day. What you see at this will be different than anything else seen online, as people create original content specifically for this celebration.

You hold a Winterfest candle in your hands, as you are a helper. Will you join us in the Great Hall?

Hello to all and sundry.

I'm new to the community here, though I've been a Beauty And The Beast fan for a very long time. The whole story has been one of my favorites since childhood. I'd love to be more active in fandom but I was wondering if there were other places on the net that would be good places to interact with other fans in addition to this one.

Also, and this may be a sticky subject so please be kind, I was hoping someone here could help me download some episodes. The economy has made it so that I have to watch every penny I spend and I cannot afford to buy the boxed sets yet, even at the used prices. I'm hoping to get them for Christmas but until then, I would dearly love to re-live the magic of one of the most romantic shows I've ever seen. If it's against the rules, I'll remove this portion of the post, but if it's not, some help would be lovely.

This was from last night's episode Stealing First Base, I believe you can still watch it on Hulu. I was initially interested in watching the episode because of Spock/Uhura, but then saw that there were others in the kissing montage that made me squee. lol Enjoy!

Sandy Chandler Shelton, "Chan", has been with Beauty and the Beast fandom since the beginning. She was inspired by the show to create art in many different forms, and grew to become one of the most popular and well-loved artists in fandom. On March 3, 2010, she was taken to the hospital and it was discovered that a major artery was leaking blood. Her prognosis was unknown but things seemed okay as she apparently stabilized. I am unclear on the specifics of this whole thing but she is presently showing no brain function and is not expected to recover. They will be removing life support as soon as they can scientifically confirm that her brain has ceased.

You all know that Winterfest Online 2010 is coming to a website near you on February 6, right? It is THE happening place for online B&B fans. Think of it as a online convention. Think of it as an excuse to geek out about all things beast while wearing your pajamas. They're sensitive to the classic/3s rift and allow you to filter out what you don't want to see. The highlights of the week include Valentine's Day, and Saturday, the day of the talent show. Anyway, go, visit, contribute, and have FUN! :D

I've been making fan made music videos of various fandoms for nine years, and today, I have signed on to make a fan video for charity.

One of my favourite fandoms at the moment is Beauty and the Beast, so I thought you guys might have some interest in this, as I have all of seasons one and two on my computer ready for me to edit. All I need is an idea!
